
Shaped around zero waste and low carbon emission goals, AkzoNobel global sustainability operations have been assessed by The Sustainalytics, one of the leading rating companies in the field of sustainability.
In its December announcement, The Sustainalytics rated AkzoNobel as 16.7. In addition to this rating score indicating a 2 % advancement compared with the previous year, AkzoNobel was also included in the “low risk” category.
While emission and waste management, carbon program, management of the environmental and social impacts of products and services as well as corporate governance were indicated as strong points; diversification program, human rights policy, business ethics and operational health activities were also bestowed with a high rating.
