At Coatings Science International 2025 in the Netherlands, which brings together leading researchers in the field of coatings science and technology, Hazal Aktaş, Project Researcher of our Auto Refinish R&D Laboratory, made a poster presentation titled “Evaluation of Solubility Behavior of Acrylic and Alkyd Resins in Different Solvents Using Hansen Solubility Parameters”.
 
In this study, the solubility behavior of acrylic and alkyd resins with different chemical structures in various solvents was investigated in detail and resin-solvent interactions were analyzed using Hansen Solubility Parameters method. The findings aim to contribute to the development of sustainable and high-performance resin systems.
